VANCOUVER NAVAL MUSEUM

ABOUT OUR MUSEUM

The Vancouver Naval Museum is operated by the Vancouver Naval Museum and Heritage Society.

It is dedicated to the history and heritage of the Royal Canadian Navy.

From the traditions of the Royal Navy, to the current total force concept, the Naval Museum seeks to display and define the Royal Canadian Navy since its inception in 1910.

The Naval Museum is dedicated to the exploits and remembrance of the Royal Canadian Navy with particular emphasis on the Battle of the Atlantic (1939-1945) and its great contribution to the cultural heritage of the Canadian nation.

The Museum collects, preserves and displays naval equipment, ships’ models, uniforms, badges, decorations & medals, photographs, personal papers, books and trade manuals for the edification of all.
